Our namesake, Edna G. Neal, was a dynamic woman that believed in cultivating the very best in everyone. She was an avid supporter of professional development and continued education. As an HR Director, she motivated and advocated for her staff, friends, and family to take advantage of every opportunity to expand their potential and meet their higher educational goals.
Scholarship Information
In memory of this legacy, EDNA’S Love, Inc. will award three (3) $1,000.00 scholarships to deserving working adults that are continuing to pursue higher education and/or professional certification/development.
To be considered for the Edna G. Neal Memorial Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a working adult attending a 2-year or 4-year accredited college/university, trade school, or working towards professional certification.
- Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
- Submit a completed application form (See below).
- Submit three (3) letters of recommendation attesting to the applicant’s academic potential, character, etc.
- Submit a copy of a certified transcript or current registration documentation from the 2-year or 4-year college/university or trade school the applicant attends.
Completed application packets must be received by March 31 of the calendar year for which you are applying.
All scholarship award winners will be chosen by the Scholarship Committee and will be notified by e-mail. Award checks will be presented at our Annual Charity Banquet.
